Stop/System operations on steel gas pipes
Gas flow interception can be carried out with either a single or double machine interconnected by a hose called a by-pass.
The price includes as follows:
- First on-site inspection;
- Supply of special fitting(s);
- Welding of special fitting(s) on the pipeline;
- Leak test with air/nitrogen;
- Installation of the by-pass hose (specific cases only);
- Drilling and plugging works;
- Machine surveillance for the day of the intervention.
The price does not include as follows:
- Reimbursement of vehicle mileage if the intervention site is more than 80 km from our premises;
- Travel costs of operational staff (dinners and overnight stays);
- Restoration of pipeline insulation;
- Building works such as excavation, backfilling, and restoration of any areas tampered to enable the intervention;
- Steel or PE construction of the by-pass if it is longer than standard hoses.
Please note:
- The working pressure of the pipeline shall be Pe = ≤ 5.0 bar.
- If the work extends beyond the agreed time due to reasons beyond our control, for each additional day you will be charged 1,300.00 € plus travel costs;
- If the welding work is carried out by the client, the following discounts shall apply:
- single intervention: 10% discount
- double intervention: 15% discount

Please note:

- The water temperature should not exceed 75/80 °C, if possible.
- If the work extends beyond the agreed time due to reasons beyond our control, for each additional day you will be charged 1,300.00 € plus travel costs;
- If the welding work is carried out by the client, the following discounts shall apply:
- single intervention: 10% discount
- double intervention: 15% discount.
